Do you offer same-day service?

Yes! We offer same-day repair service for urgent issues when you book before 12:00 PM. For emergency situations (like a fridge not cooling), we prioritize getting a technician to you as quickly as possible, often within 2-4 hours anywhere in Cape Town.

Do you repair gas stoves and other gas appliances?

Yes. We provide dedicated gas stove, gas cooktop, gas oven ignition, and gas braai repairs. Common callouts include burners not lighting, weak flame, ignition faults, faulty regulators, and gas smell investigations.

What are your operating hours?

Our standard operating hours are:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Emergency calls only

However, we understand appliances don't break on schedule, so we offer emergency after-hours service for critical issues like refrigeration failures.

Pricing & Payment

How much does a repair cost?

Repair costs vary depending on the appliance type and the issue. We charge a diagnostic fee of R350 which covers the technician's visit and assessment. This fee is waived if you proceed with the repair.

After diagnosis, we provide a clear quote for parts and labor before any work begins. No hidden fees, no surprises.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept multiple payment methods for your convenience:

  • Cash
  • EFT/Bank Transfer
  • Credit & Debit Cards (via Yoco)

Payment is due upon completion of the repair, once you're satisfied with the work.

Do you provide quotes over the phone?

We can give you a rough estimate over the phone or WhatsApp based on the symptoms you describe, but an accurate quote requires an in-person diagnosis. Many issues that seem simple (like "not cooling") can have multiple causes with different repair costs.

We believe in transparency — that's why we diagnose first, quote second, and repair only with your approval.

Warranty & Guarantees

Do you offer a warranty on repairs?

Absolutely! We stand behind our work with a 2-year warranty on all parts and labor. If the same issue recurs within 2 years of the repair, we'll fix it again at no charge.

This warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not extend to new, unrelated issues or damage caused by misuse.

What if my appliance can't be repaired?

If our technician determines that your appliance is beyond economical repair (BER), you only pay the diagnostic fee (R350). We'll provide honest advice on whether replacement makes more sense than repair.

In some cases, we can also recommend reliable suppliers for replacement appliances.

Service Process

Do I need to be home for the repair?

Yes, an adult (18+) needs to be present during the repair for several reasons:

  • To provide access to the appliance
  • To approve the quote after diagnosis
  • To test the appliance with the technician after repair
  • For security and insurance purposes

We also need someone present to make payment upon completion.

How long does a typical repair take?

Most repairs are completed in 1-2 hours on the spot. We carry common parts for major brands, allowing us to fix most issues in a single visit.

If a specialized part needs to be ordered, we'll clearly communicate the timeline (usually 1-3 business days) and schedule a follow-up visit.

Do you use original parts?

We use high-quality compatible parts that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications. Original (OEM) parts are available upon request but may cost more and take longer to source.

All parts we use come with our 2-year warranty and are sourced from reputable suppliers.

How do I book a repair?

You can book a repair in three ways:

For fastest service, we recommend WhatsApp or the online form as we can capture all details upfront.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule:

  • More than 24 hours notice: Free cancellation/rescheduling
  • Less than 24 hours: We may charge a R150 late cancellation fee
  • No-show: Full diagnostic fee (R350) may be charged

Please be considerate — when you book a slot, we reserve that time specifically for you and turn away other customers.
